Ellerdale focuses on rapidly indexing high-volume data feeds. The ellerdale web intelligence platform processes millions of rows of data every day, including the complete Twitter firehose. To keep pace with large, real-time streams, we have developed a fault-tolerant, distributed database to simultaneously index and serve search requests.

Depending on the data structure, the ellerdale web intelligence platform can apply traditional keyword and/or semantic indexing. We use the semantic engine to create a topic database and present a categorized view of conversations.
